Річний Фестиваль/ Annual Picnic – Парохіяльний річний фестиваль перенесено задля погоди на 25 вересня 2011, PAPROSKI’S CASTLE HILL FARM PUMPKIN PATCH 40 Sugar Lane (Off Route 302)Newtown, Connecticut. Потрібна ваша поміч: четвер 22 вересня робити пироги; п'ятниця 23 вересня робити голубці; субота 24 вересня завести і розкладати столи і крісла на площі фестивалю; неділя 25 вересня на кухні і після фестивалю прибрати площу і привести всі речі знову до церкви. Якщо не можете помогти фізично працювати або нема часу, то можете скласти грошову пожертву. Дякую за вашу підтримку.

Our Annual Parish Picnic was transferred to due weather to September 25, 2011 at PAPROSKI’S CASTLE HILL FARM PUMPKIN PATCH 40 Sugar Lane (Off Route 302) Newtown, Connecticut . Your help is needed on: Thursday September 22 to make Pyrohy; Friday September 23 to make holubtsy ; Saturday September 24 to set up tables and chairs at the Festival grounds; Sunday September 25 in the kitchen and different stands and at the end of the day to clean up the place and to bring all the tables and all items back to the church. If you cannot help out physically you might consider financial donation. Thank you for your support.

Ремонт/Renovation –Ремонт Церкви закінчений. Щиру подяку приносимо всім хто долучисвя до цього проєкту. Нехай Господь Бог благословить вас найщирішими ласками.

Є бажання поставити нові подушки у лавки. Ті старi були дуже брудні і вже розпадалися і ми їх викинули. Я вже цікавився і ціна включає: матеріал, шитя і посилку $8,500. Бажано б було щоб кожна родина подарувала $100 і кошти були б покриті. Після закінченя ремонту 2009 – 2011 будемо робити плакат де будуть записані імена жертводарців. Плакат буде поділений на три групи: спонсор $100 –250; жертводавець $255–1,000; фундатори більше як тисяча. Щиро дякую за вашу підтримку.

Renovation of the church is completed. We thank everyone who participated in this project. As you have noticed there are no cushions in the pews. They were dirty and falling apart and we disposed of them. I did make inquiries and I found one company that is willing to make them for us for $8,500. The price includes: 2 inches thick foam; cover material, sewing and shipping. This foam grade is firm high-density foam, called luxury foam. If every family would donate $100 we would cover the cost. After the completion of the Renovation Projects we will put up a plaque with names of people who participated in this project 2009 – 2011.The plaque will have three categories of donors: $100-250 sponsors; $255 – 1,000 contributors, and over $1,000 benefactors. Празничний Обід/ Parish Feastday Dinner – Парохіяльний празничний обід відбудеться 9 жовтня, 2011 зараз після Божественної Літургії у нашому церковному залі. Цього дня відбудеться тільки одна Літургія о год. 10:00 рано. Всі є запрошені щоб брали участь. Квиток для дорослих $15, студента $6, дітей до 12 років безкоштовно.

Our annual Parish Feastday Dinner will take place on October 9, 2011 following the Divine Liturgy. This day we will have only one Liturgy at 10:00am. Everyone is invited to take place. Ticket for adults $15, students $6, children under 12 free.

Будь Чоловіком/ Be A Man – Єпархіальний День Мужчини відбудеться в суботу 24 вересня, 2011 при Семінарії Василія Великого в Стемфорді. Ця програма відноситься до всіх мужчин: молодих юнаків, батьків, похресних, жонатих і самітніх. Владика Павло заохочує всіх мужнин щоб брали участь у цій програмі. Реєстрацію можна дістати в о. Михайла або по інтернеті, www.stamforddio.org. Останій день записатися є 19 вересня, 2011.

Eparchial Man’s Day will take place on Saturday September 24 th , 2011 on the grounds of St. Basil Seminary in Stamford. Bishop Paul encourages every man from our parish to participate in this workshop. “We all want to be stronger Christian men whether you are a young man, father, grandfather, married or single, there will be something for you this day.” Registration can be obtained from Fr. Mihai or by visiting diocesan website: www.stamforddio.org . Deadline to register is September 19, 2011.

Ukrainian Club – With the conclusion of the Summer break, monthly membership meetings of the Ukrainian Club will resume starting today Sunday September 18th at 3 P.M. at the Club.  All members are invited.
